• Postal 7600 is a free and open subscription digital Contemporary Art magazine. This magazine is published under a “3+2+1” scheme, which Means that each issue features 3 local artists (from Mar del Plata), 2 national artists (from Argentina) and 1 foreign artist. This scheme enables the promotion of Mar del Plata’s art in the country and around the world, and at the same time, it brings international and national art closer to local audiences. Our magazine is 100% free of charge both for the audience and the artists featured in it. We neither charge artists a fee to appear in our magazine nor a percentage in the event that they sell their work thanks to the magazine. Our aim is to promote artists without an intention to act as intermediaries. For that reason, artists´ contact details are provided in the magazine, so that those who are interested can contact artists directly. Artists are selected by open call. If you are interested in sending your material, you’ll find the requirements in the “Open Call” section. Bear in mind that we will focus on your work and not on your resume: we prioritize work over credentials. The magazine is published on a monthly basis. We keep track of previous editions in an online database so that we can build a nice library, where we can all enjoy contemporary art and artists.
